A complex transport route is one of the favorite specialists in TVE of any logistics company. Goods from China today flooded the market of all countries of the world, Ukraine was no exception. Huge flows of cargo follow in air traffic, railway trains, 20-ton vans take an active part in the transport process, but the most popular direction for the delivery of Chinese imports is sea routes, followed by containers on large ships from Shanghai, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Shenzhen.
Peculiarities and prospects for increasing imports from China

China is the leader in the supply of goods among importing countries. Germany is in second place, followed by the USA, Belarus, Italy, Japan and France.

- Before filling with the required volume or weight, goods are accumulated in temporary storage warehouses. As soon as the container is filled with Chinese goods, it is sent to the nearest port of China, where it is reloaded onto the sea mode of transport and the container shipment follows by ship to the port of Ukraine. Here, the container is opened and the cargo is redistributed in directions, which are then followed by railway or road transport, delivering low-cost Chinese goods to customers in a timely manner.
- If railway transport is involved in the transportation scheme, the container is sent to the border from Ukraine. Due to the difference in track gauge, the transportation scheme involves downtime due to reloading of containers to other platforms. On the territory of Ukraine, road transport is involved in the logistics route.
According to customs statistics, there is an annual increase in the share of deliveries of Chinese goods. But in 2020, there were objective factors and difficulties in the economic situation, but in 2021, according to analysts’ forecasts, an increase in trade is expected compared to previous periods. Popular product groups include fertilizers, medicines, LED lamps, and mobile gadgets.
